The Pension Fund Announces Changes in Social Benefits for 2024
The Pension Fund has announced important changes regarding social benefits in Ukraine starting from 2024. Now the amount of benefits provided to the population for payment of utilities will be determined based on the average monthly income of the family.
According to the new rules, this income for the last six months should not exceed the level allowing the family to use tax benefits. The changes also affected the social benefit indicator, which as of the beginning of 2024 is 4,240 hryvnias.
The tax benefit amount is calculated based on the monthly subsistence level for able-bodied citizens as of January 1 of the current year, multiplied by 1.4 and rounded to the nearest ten hryvnias.
