Ukrainian Military Successfully Thwart Russian Troops in Kharkiv
Ukrainian military managed to reduce the activity of Russian troops in the Kharkiv direction. In particular, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) prevented the enemy from infiltrating deep into the urban area of Volchansk.
This information is reported by RBC-Ukraine, referring to the data from the General Staff of the AFU.
Thus, compared to May 10, the AFU were able to significantly reduce the activity of Russian occupiers.
«The enemy’s plans to infiltrate deep into the urban area of Volchansk and establish themselves there have been thwarted. Since the beginning of the current day, the AFU continue to carry out combat tasks within the urban area of Volchansk in the northern part of the city, keeping the enemy under fire control. Actions are ongoing, and the situation is under control,» the press service reports.
On the Kupiansk Direction
On the Kupiansk direction, Russian occupiers with the support of armored vehicles are attempting to attack Ukrainian positions in the Krakhmalne — Berestovo direction.
«Here, Ukrainian defenders destroyed a tank and an infantry fighting vehicle. The battle continues, and the situation is under control. The AFU have also improved their tactical position and pushed back the enemy to the area north of Kyslivka,» the military add.
