Ukrainian defense company expands production

Ukrainian Armored Vehicles Expands Production Amid War

Ukrainian company «Ukrainian Armored Vehicles» has significantly increased its production capacity during the two years of intense fighting with Russia. The company, known for its armored vehicles «Varta» and «Novator», has dispersed its production at multiple sites across Ukraine to ensure safety.

In an interview with Deutsche Welle, CEO Vladyslav Belbas revealed that all production is dedicated to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as exports are currently on hold due to the ongoing war. With numerous sites scattered throughout the country, the dispersion of production serves as a crucial security measure.

Despite the possibility of underground production, Belbas stated that the company is not considering it at the moment. The technical challenges and safety risks, especially in producing artillery and mortar shells, make underground production impractical.

As Ukrainian weapons manufacturers are seen as a significant threat by Russia, these discreet enterprises scattered across the country remain the only option for the Ukrainian military-industrial complex to develop its own weapons under the protection of PPJ.
