Lviv receives Holy Fire from Jerusalem
The flame of Holy Fire was delivered to Lviv.
Lanterns with the Holy Fire were handed over to the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the OCU in Lviv, as reported by the community «Spiritual greatness of Lviv».
After the end of the curfew, at 5:00 in the morning, the residents of Lviv were able to receive a piece of the Holy Fire at the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, located at 2 Hrushevskoho Street.
Lanterns with the Holy Fire arrived at the border with Ukraine in the Transcarpathian region, where they were handed over to patrol police officers. This fire, traditionally blessed on Easter in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, will be passed on to other regions of Ukraine.
