In a recent incident, a Chernihiv resident reported a case of fraud to the police. She had listed a children’s stroller for sale on a well-known classifieds website. The buyer, who contacted her, sent her a link via messenger supposedly for delivery confirmation. Upon clicking the link, the woman entered her bank card’s secret information, as well as her father’s card details. Shortly after, savings amounting to over 110,000 hryvnias went missing from both accounts. The police are currently searching for the perpetrators.
