Russian Military Attacks Odesa with X-59 Missile
Today, on February 13, the Russian occupying army launched an attack on Odesa, directing an X-59 missile towards the city.
Missile Shot Down by Air Defense Forces
According to the Armed Forces of Southern Ukraine, the missile was shot down by the air defense forces as it approached the city from the sea. Debris from the downed missile damaged an unfinished building and windows of several high-rise buildings in the coastal area. Explosives experts are currently working to ensure the safety of local residents and no casualties have been reported.
Continued Attacks on Odesa Region
Recently, the Russian Federation launched attacks on the Odesa region, causing damage to port infrastructure. Multiple UAV attacks occurred, with the defenders successfully repelling the first wave, but sustaining damage to port infrastructure and injuries to workers in subsequent waves. Civilian infrastructure in the city of Izmail was also affected, with damage to buildings, roads, and vehicles.
