Reopening of the Second Entrance to «Khreshchatyk» Metro Station

Opening of Second Vestibule at «Khreshchatyk» Metro Station

On Wednesday, March 13, the second vestibule of the «Khreshchatyk» metro station will open its doors to passengers. This exit will provide access to Institutskaya Street, which has been closed since the start of the full-scale invasion.

This information was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration, citing the Kyiv Metro.

At the same time, the exit to Architect Gorodetsky Street will remain closed. It is worth noting that currently only one vestibule of the «Khreshchatyk» station is operating, which exits to the street of the same name. Its working hours are from 05:40 to 22:35.

Additionally, the Kyiv City State Administration emphasizes that in case of an air raid alert, all subway stations will operate around the clock as shelters. Moreover, all vestibules will be open for the swift movement of people to the metro station as a shelter.

Recently, the «Dnipro» station has also resumed its operation.
