Man evades military service by running away from home
A man in Kryvyi Rih, who received a summons, ran away from home for a month to avoid the employees of the Territorial Center of Completation and Social Support. He was tried for evading mobilization.
This information was revealed in the verdict of the Inhuletskyi District Court of Kryvyi Rih in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, as reported by «TSN». The case indicated that the man underwent a military-medical commission (VLC), which on August 8, 2023, declared him fit for military service.
On the same day, the man received a summons demanding him to report for military service by mobilization on August 10. Deciding to evade service, he disappeared to hide from the TCC.
The man fled from home for a whole month to avoid being mobilized. After he was found, a trial took place — during the court hearing, he admitted his guilt and expressed remorse. The court found the suspect guilty under Article 336 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He was sentenced to three years of imprisonment, however, the actual term was replaced with one year of probation.
