A new container route connecting Odessa with Turkey and Romania
A new container route has linked the ports of Odessa with Turkey and Romania, expanding the maritime transport market. The container ship T Moon, departing from the Turkish port of Yalova, successfully docked in Chornomorsk before heading to Constanta. This follows the arrival of another ship, T Mare, on April 3.
Both T Moon and T Mare will regularly sail between Yalova, Constanta, and Chornomorsk, with management by Odessa companies. Container transport to Odessa had been suspended prior to April due to safety concerns, but now a new chapter has begun in maritime trade between the three countries.
