NATO Countries Plan Drone Wall at Borders

NATO countries in Europe to build «drone wall» to protect against Russian aggression

According to The Telegraph, NATO countries in Europe have agreed to construct a «drone wall» along their borders in order to safeguard against potential Russian aggression and provocations. The agreement will see cooperation between Norway, Poland, and Finland, along with the Baltic countries of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

«This is a completely new initiative. A drone border from Norway to Poland,» stated Lithuanian Minister of Internal Affairs Agne Bilotaite, emphasizing that this measure will assist in defending against provocations from unfriendly countries.

Concerns about border security have also been raised by EU countries bordering Russia. Finland, for example, has closed border crossing points with Russia and heightened control over migrants.

In a recent incident, Russia removed approximately 20 buoys that were placed in Estonian waters by the Estonian border guard to mark the fairway. Additionally, there were plans to «shift» the borders of Lithuania and Finland in the Baltic Sea, causing further unease.
