National Bank of Ukraine cuts currency sales on interbank market by half in a week

According to the regulator, over the course of five working days, it sold $320.9 million, which is the minimum in the last three weeks. At the same time, purchases of currency increased to $29.6 million, which is the highest level since November 2022. In total, since the beginning of the current year, the National Bank has sold over $4.1 billion on the interbank market, while buying only $47.9 million.

It is worth noting that during this week, the official exchange rate of the dollar decreased for three consecutive days, but on Friday it increased by 10 kopecks to 38.1575 hryvnia.
