Event in Chernivtsi leaves man in critical condition
An incident that took place in Chernivtsi on the evening of June 10 has left a 52-year-old local resident in critical condition. The man was hit by a speeding train while crossing the railroad tracks at an unauthorized location. He was quickly hospitalized with severe injuries.
The police have initiated a criminal investigation into the incident, as crossing tracks in prohibited areas is illegal and extremely dangerous. We urge everyone to always use designated pedestrian crossings to ensure their safety.
