Ukrainian TV presenter Hryhoriy Reshetnyk, who was invited to work as a master of ceremonies at the scandalous wedding of former prosecutor Rostyslav Ilnytsky and former employee of the State Bureau of Investigation Roksolana Moskva, has responded to the criticism against him for the first time. The artist suspects that he was «ordered» to damage his reputation on the STB television channel, although he does not consider himself guilty and does not feel hate from real people.

According to the star, he did not want to record public apologies or explanations before the wedding, and intended to wait for an open interview. This opportunity was provided to him by a long-time acquaintance and journalist Alina Dorotyuk on her YouTube channel.
Clarification of Events
Hryhoriy Reshetnyk, first of all, explained that he did not find any information about the questionable reputation of the newlyweds before the wedding. In his opinion, «if they are having a wedding and freely moving around, law enforcement officers have no claims against these people.»
Regarding the fact of the luxurious wedding in Lviv with 400 guests, the host did not have a negative feeling, as he saw military personnel, embroidered shirts, guests singing the anthem, honoring the deceased heroes with a minute of silence, collecting funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and shouting: «Glory to Ukraine.»
Response to Viral Videos
The artist also commented on viral videos where he says: «The whole country is having fun» and «Everything is relevant, if in the right context,» while the footage shows farewells to fallen soldiers.
«If there are no actions to nitpick at, they need to nitpick at phrases. If this is a planned initiative, one can plow a phrase out of context, and then mount it,» the presenter expressed his opinion on these videos.
He explained that at the wedding, he was talking about the fun of the country in the context of having a lot of different guests at the event. In the star’s opinion, his former colleague — a former STB presenter — took advantage of this situation to set up Reshetnyk and take his place.
