Kharkiv is regaining its green look: new flowers are being planted

In Kharkiv, the season of greening has started: communal workers have begun planting flowers.

This was reported by the city council.

On April 8, specialists from «Kharkivzelenstroy» decorated flower beds at Kaskad by planting 4,500 pansies in the colors of the Ukrainian flag.

This is the first stage of work, and soon they will start greening the flower beds near the Shevchenko monument and the Mirror Stream.

In 2024, it is planned to plant 1.7 million flowers throughout the city.

This includes planting in Shevchenko Garden, near the Mirror Stream, and in city parks. This is more than in 2023 when 1.2 million flowers were planted. Before the war in 2021, 2 million flowers were planted in Kharkiv.

The planting of new flowers is part of a larger plan to restore and green the city after difficult times.

This will be a pleasant addition to the urban landscape.
