Increased police protection at temples in the Kyiv region for Easter

Tomorrow, on May 5, on the eve of Easter celebrations, police security will be strengthened in the temples of the Kyiv region. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Ruslan Kravchenko.

Over 1,800 law enforcement officers will ensure public order and security near the religious buildings. In addition, more than 260 members of the Voluntary Territorial Defense Formation are involved.

Ruslan Kravchenko noted that the curfew in the Easter night in the Kyiv region remains unchanged.

The head of the KOVA urged to limit the holding of mass religious events within the temples and to conduct services online. He also called on the residents of the Kyiv region to adhere to the curfew during Easter and not to ignore the air raid sirens.
