State Bureau of Investigations has announced the initiation of a criminal case against the head of the medical service of a military unit. In November 2022, he sent a serviceman for treatment, but did not monitor his stay in the medical facility, allowing the soldier to return with a delay of 133 days and receive illegal payments amounting to 340,000 hryvnias.
The military officer is also charged with desertion. The head of the medical service faces up to eight years of imprisonment for negligence in service.
In Odessa, residents of the Odessa region mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2024 are planned to receive a one-time assistance of 20,000 hryvnias.
