Prosecutors Charge Four Men in Stryi with Illegal Sale of Narcotic Substance
Prosecutors of the Stryi District Prosecutor’s Office have announced suspicion to a group of individuals consisting of four men. They are accused of illegal acquisition, storage, transportation for the purpose of sale, and sale of the narcotic substance «Subitex».
According to investigators, the suspects organized the sale of «Subitex» tablets containing the narcotic substance buprenorphine. They sold these tablets «hand to hand» by prearrangement with clients in various locations in Stryi. These tablets were sold at prices ranging from 750 to 2,000 hryvnias each.
During searches at the suspects’ residences, 180 narcotic tablets, cannabis plants, bank cards, mobile phones, cash, and draft notes were seized. Law enforcement agencies have filed a motion for preventive measures to be taken. The investigation is ongoing, and all circumstances of the case are being looked into.
