In Donetsk region, energy workers targeted by Russian drone
In Donetsk region, a team of energy workers performing repairs came under fire from a Russian drone «Lancet». The incident was reported by the Ministry of Energy on May 19. There were no casualties or injuries, but repair work was halted and workers had to leave the scene.
Impact on electricity supply
Due to the shelling, one power line, a substation, and connected households were disconnected, leaving 105 settlements in the region without electricity. Nearly 48,000 subscribers were affected, with 5,200 subscribers in three settlements losing power in the past day. Energy workers managed to restore power to 5,400 subscribers in six settlements by the morning of May 20.
