Ukraine to Receive Significant Ammunition Supplies in June

Ukraine will begin receiving significant supplies of ammunition in early June as part of a Czech initiative, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic announced. Minister Jan Lipavský confirmed that the first deliveries are scheduled for June, and Tomáš Kopecký, the government’s special representative for the reconstruction of Ukraine, emphasized that this will be the first significant increase in supplies under the initiative.

It was noted that previous estimates suggested that the first deliveries could be expected at the end of May or the beginning of June. It was also reported that the Czech Republic has the possibility to purchase 500,000 rounds of ammunition for Ukraine as part of its ammunition provision initiative.
