While Nvidia is expanding its range of GeForce RTX 40 graphics cards with new models in the price range of $600 to $1000, its competitors from AMD have prepared a surprise for gamers — a new graphics card offering 16 GB of memory at an affordable price.
The Radeon RX 7600 XT
The Radeon RX 7600 XT is the perfect solution for gaming at 1080p or 1440p resolution when using FSR technology. This model is expected to be priced at $329, which is $60 more expensive than the Radeon RX 7600.
The main changes compared to the standard RX 7600 model include:
- Doubling the memory capacity from 8 to 16 GB.
- Increasing the GPU frequency from 2.25 GHz to 2.47 GHz in gaming mode and from 2.66 GHz to 2.76 GHz in Boost mode.
- Increasing power consumption from 165 W to 190 W. The card will also be equipped with a new DisplayPort 2.1 port.
The release of the Radeon RX 7600 XT is scheduled for January 24. This model will compete with the GeForce RTX 4060, which was released last summer for $299 but only has 8 GB of memory.
