In a remarkable feat of medical expertise and care, doctors at the Lviv perinatal center saved the life of a baby girl with a critical body mass of only 600 grams. Immediately after birth, the baby, named Vladislava-Maria, required connection to mechanical ventilation to survive.

Throughout her stay at the perinatal center, Vladislava-Maria underwent a laser eye surgery to correct retinal issues in both eyes, ensuring the preservation of her eyesight. After 119 days of intensive care and an additional 44 days in the second stage of care, this brave little fighter was finally discharged home.

At the time of her discharge, Vladislava-Maria weighed 2440 grams and measured 42 centimeters in height. Her amazing journey is a testament to the dedication and skill of the medical professionals at the Lviv perinatal center.
