Corruption Case Update
On June 25th, the Higher Anti-Corruption Court made a significant decision to proceed with a special court case involving former First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Oleg Gladkovsky. He has been accused of causing damages to the state amounting to 17.44 million hryvnias.
Legal Action
The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office has backed the decision to carry out a special court proceeding «in absentia» as Gladkovsky has been avoiding court hearings. In November 2023, the accused left Ukraine, and in April 2024, the court issued a warrant for his arrest.
