Tragic Incident in Korobivka
Late at night in the village of Korobivka, Zolotonosha district, a «BMW X-5» car went off the road into the Dnieper River. As a result, a 49-year-old woman who was in the car died, while her 42-year-old companion survived.
Rescuers from the State Emergency Service used heavy machinery to pull the car out of the water and unlock the body of the deceased. The driver of the car was detained by the police on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and violating traffic safety rules.
