Woman Reports Murder in Shostka
A woman contacted the Shostka police to report a murder. She stated that her son had discovered the body of a cohabitant who showed signs of violent death. Upon arrival, law enforcement found the body of a 64-year-old woman with stab wounds.
Suspect Confesses to Murder
During the investigation, the police identified the cohabitant of the deceased as a suspect in the crime. The 57-year-old man confessed to the murder, admitting that during a conflict, he had grabbed a knife and inflicted 9 wounds to the victim’s neck and back.
