US President Joe Biden has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine worth $1 billion. This information was spread via a White House video and the Pentagon press service.

«Now America will be sending necessary aid to Ukraine for further fighting… I am dedicated to working to make this package available as quickly as possible,» said the American president.

«Over the next few hours, we will begin delivering PPE, artillery shells, and armored vehicles to Ukraine,» added Biden.

US Congress Approves Fund Allocation for Ukraine Support

The US Congress has approved the allocation of funds to support Ukraine.

Yesterday, the US Senate approved a package of bills, including one related to supporting Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan, and US national security. These bills had previously been passed by the House of Representatives under the leadership of Speaker Mike Johnson.

This vote concluded a six-month debate on the allocation of financial aid to Ukraine. The US government now has over $60 billion for expenses related to supporting Ukraine, with nearly half of it being spent on American military equipment.
