The police in Kyiv respond to false murder report
The police in Kyiv have reported that inspectors recently received a call about a murder in the Pechersk district. However, after speaking with the applicant, the patrol officers determined that no murder had actually occurred.
A resident of Kyiv also confessed that he had a terrible dream in which unknown persons killed his friend. Therefore, he turned to the patrol officers for help.
Inspectors issued a fine to the offender for making a knowingly false call. The fine ranges from 850 to 3400 hryvnias.
