More than 7900 people took part in the event, as reported by the Kyiv City Council.
The event was attended by communal workers, activists, and employees of relevant departments, who also involved their children in cleaning up.
According to the director of the Department of Territorial Control, Mykhailo Budylov, the garbage was cleaned up in the territories of all districts of the capital. For this purpose, 203 units of equipment were involved, and almost 7500 cubic meters of garbage were collected and removed during the campaign.
On this day, 13037 green plantings were also planted.
