Police patrols to be strengthened in Podil district
According to the decision of the Public Council, police patrols will be strengthened at Postal and Kontraktova Squares in the Podil district of Kyiv. This was announced by the deputy head of the Podil district state administration, Serhiy Kovalenko.
The decision was made following an incident on the funicular, which resulted in the death of a 16-year-old teenager.
In addition to the police, representatives of the Kyiv Territorial Community will also be involved in patrolling public areas.
