New checkpoint will open in June in Lviv region

Opening of the «Nyzhankovychi — Malhovychi» International Checkpoint

In June, a new international automobile checkpoint «Nyzhankovychi — Malhovychi» will start operating in Lviv region. This was announced by Oleksandr Kubrakov, the Vice Prime Minister for Reintegration of Ukraine.

The «Nyzhankovychi — Malhovychi» checkpoint will provide joint control with the participation of Ukrainian and Polish customs officers and border guards. The construction of this checkpoint is already at the final stage, and its cost is 109 million zlotys, which is covered by the Polish side.

The checkpoint is intended for passenger transport and trucks up to 3.5 tons and aimed at facilitating border crossings. Currently, it operates in the mode of a special temporary crossing.
