Czech Republic to provide generators to restore energy supply in Kharkiv

In Kharkiv, the recovery of the energy sector with the help of the Czech Republic is in focus. According to the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, the head Oleg Synegubov met with representatives of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ukraine and leaders of Czech companies.

The Czech partners discussed projects for the rehabilitation of energy, heating, and healthcare in the region. They are ready to organize fundraising worldwide and provide the production of necessary gas and diesel generators.

The General Director of the Czech Institute of Health Technologies, Marek Svoboda, emphasized that last year the partners had already handed over several cogeneration units that can produce heat and electricity.

In the coming weeks, sponsors from the Czech Republic will provide assistance to medical institutions in the Kharkiv region. Local authorities emphasized the importance of support for the upcoming heating season, noting that Russian shelling had seriously damaged the region’s thermal infrastructure.

Other regions of Ukraine are also actively providing assistance. Already, over 1000 generators have been received for the restoration of energy supply.
