Odessa City Council Removes Mobile Coffee Shops from Victory Park and Shevchenko Park
The Odessa City Council has decided to remove mobile coffee shops from Victory Park and Shevchenko Park, replacing them with stationary cafes. This decision was made after a working meeting chaired by the mayor of the city, Gennady Trukhanov, the city council reported.
The new cafes will be designed in a unified architectural style that, according to city council representatives, «will harmoniously fit into the surrounding environment.» Currently, an inventory of commercial objects in the parks is being conducted. At the same time, a document regulating the maintenance of green areas and entrepreneurial activities in them is being prepared. This document will be considered at a city council meeting.
«We are ready to cooperate with entrepreneurs, but it must be civilized cooperation,» Trukhanov said. «In addition, there are areas in the parks where recreational areas were previously zoned. We are considering the possibility of restoring such zones for recreation, including sports activities.»
