Tonight enemy «Shahed» drones attempted to attack Lviv region.
According to the head of the Lviv regional military administration Maxim Kozitsky, air defense systems and mobile fire groups shot down all the drones that entered the airspace of the region.
«Unfortunately, their wreckage caused damage to a critical infrastructure object. A fire broke out, which was promptly extinguished. There were no casualties or injuries. All life support systems in our region are operating normally,» emphasized Kozitsky.
Attack on Ukraine on April 9 — details
As reported by UNIAN, on the night of April 9, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with strike drones of the Shahed-131/136 type. They were launched from Cape Chauda in the temporarily occupied Crimea and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia). In addition, the enemy attacked with four guided Zenit missiles S-300 from the occupied territory of Donetsk region.
As a result of the air battle, all 20 «Shahed» drones were shot down in Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Vinnytsia, and Lviv regions.
