Ukrainian Ministry of Defense insists on adopting an updated bill on mobilization

Illarion Pavliuk Urges Verkhovna Rada to Adopt Updated Draft Law on Mobilization

Illarion Pavliuk, the head of the Press and Information Department of the Ministry of Defense, has stressed the urgent need for the Verkhovna Rada to adopt the updated draft law on mobilization. According to Pavliuk, this draft law meets the requirements of the time and is crucial for strengthening the Armed Forces.

In an interview with the television channel «Mы-Украина,» Pavliuk emphasized the importance of the updated draft law, especially its provision for a clearly defined term of service — 36 months. He believes that this clarity in the term of service is a key factor in attracting individuals to military structures.

Pavliuk also highlighted that the updated draft law contains mechanisms to make the mobilization process more efficient, understandable, and transparent. He noted that in the conditions of war, time plays a key role, and therefore, the timely adoption of this draft law is crucial.
