Finland Provides Ukraine with Latest Weapons and Support
The head of the military economics department of the Finnish Defense Forces, Mikko Heiskanen, has announced the transfer of not only old weapons from stocks to Ukraine, but also the latest developments of the Finnish defense industry.
Heiskanen refrained from disclosing the content of the military aid, but emphasized that the Armed Forces of Ukraine received not only old materials, but also new developments of the Finnish defense industry, some of which are still in the development stage.
According to the Finnish official, feedback on the use of Finnish products in Ukraine has been positive.
Heiskanen also noted that production reserves created by Finnish companies for military purposes can be used to support Ukraine with political will and additional funding.
Additionally, it is known that Finland does not plan to send its military personnel to the territory of Ukraine, but will continue to provide assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
